The World Health Organization (WHO) has selected ”the interference of the tobacco industry” as the theme for World No Tobacco day 2012, which you know will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 31.
The campaign will focus on the need to expose and counter attempts by increasingly brazen and aggressive tobacco industry to block The Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC). As more countries implement the FCTC handed the tobacco industry has exerted counter efforts and are in shock mainly with Australia and Uruguay’s Governments.
